Like you, Priority has been closely monitoring the ongoing global spread of the novel coronavirus. Ensuring the wellbeing of our employees, customers and respective communities is at the forefront of all our actions. To that end, Priority has implemented social distancing measures along with other strategies to do our part in preventing community spread of the virus and supporting our health care system during this important period.

Priority has instituted the following measures:

As part of our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) process, establishing a COVID-19 Pandemic Planning Team with representation from senior leadership across our organization, as well as monitoring and adhering to the Public Health Agency of Canada’s regulations and guidelines.

Enabling social distancing by:

  • Encouraging all employees that feel even mildly ill to stay home
  • Distributing workloads to our employees to ensure continuous support in case a particular region is significantly impacted, as enabled by our provincial presence.
  • Requesting that employees who can perform their functions remotely work from home as of March 19. We are equipped with cloud-based systems, ensuring continuous communications both internally and with our customers.
  • Prohibiting all visitors and non-essential third party vendors from accessing our facilities
  • Cancelling all non-essential business travel
  • Cancelling all non-essential group gatherings

As this is an evolving situation, we are closely monitoring the changing Canadian landscape to ensure the safety and health of our dedicated team, valued customers and communities.
