Yes! All refrigerators and freezers require some sort of ventilation to work properly. U-Line undercounter freezers have a front grille to ventilate. It’s important to prevent debris from blocking the front grille so that your freezer doesn’t have to work harder to cool.
Yes, U-Line refrigerators have automatic defrost under normal conditions. However, U-Line advises manually defrosting the unit if there is 6mm of frost or more has accumulated.
TIP: The unit must be removed from the cabinetry if manual defrosting is required because the drain pan cannot hold the water without overflowing.
For the best performance, U-Line recommends cleaning the condenser coil every six months and regularly sweeping dust and dirt from the front grille.
