Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5/2023
At Priority Appliance Service, we are committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our customers. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website and services. By using our website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection and Use
While using our website, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Address and postal code
- Details of the appliances requiring repair
We collect this information for the purpose of providing our services, scheduling appointments, and improving the user experience of our website.
Service Request Attribution
When you visit our website, we temporarily keep the first page you visited and any available campaign tags, supported click identifiers (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, msclkid and fbclid), and referring website in this browser tab’s session storage. We also keep the latest visit with campaign tags, click identifiers or an external referrer during that tab session. When you submit a service request, we link those details and the page where you submitted the form to your request to understand how you found us. We store only page origins and paths and referring website origins, not full URL queries, fragments, or your browsing history. This attribution feature does not add tracking requests to third parties or persistent visitor identifiers. The browser record normally ends when the tab closes, although restoring or duplicating a tab may restore or copy it; submitted details remain with your service request. It is not used to recognize you across separate sessions or devices. If storage is blocked, only the current page’s details may be available; if JavaScript is disabled, these details may not be captured. A missing referrer does not establish that you came directly, and a social click identifier does not prove a paid ad. This is separate from consent to receive service communications and does not establish marketing consent.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to help us understand how our website is being used and to improve the user experience. Google Analytics collects anonymous data about your visit to our website, including the pages you visited, the duration of your visit, and the website from which you arrived. This data is not linked to your personal information and is only used for the purposes of analysis and improving our website.
You can learn more about Google Analytics and how to opt-out by visiting https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Use of Your Personal Information
We use the collected information for various purposes, including:
- To schedule and manage service appointments
- To communicate with you about your service requests, updates, or any inquiries
- To maintain a record of our services provided to you
- To improve our website and services by analyzing user behavior and preferences
- To send promotional emails or newsletters, if you have opted in to receive them
- To comply with any legal requirements or to protect our rights, property, or safety, as well as that of our users or the public
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Priority Appliance Service does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your personal information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or providing services to you, as long as they agree to keep this information confidential.
